Admission to Candidacy
Admission to Candidacy is the process of
- Declaring the specific courses you will complete.
- Identifying the research component you will complete – research project or thesis.
- Identifying your graduate committee, including a primary advisor and two graduate faculty members in the department of communication.
Your committee will play a key role in your completion of the corporate communication curriculum. Committee members will approve – and conduct the oral defense of – your research project or thesis.
As a graduate student, you are responsible for asking faculty members to serve on your committee. You will find these links useful
